Weekend Getaway to Baguio City
I'm blogging again. And this time I will try to write few details about my weekend getaway to Baguio City with my friend Derlyn last weekend. We originally plan to go with my sister and two other friends but they backout a day before the trip. Even if it's just the two of us, we still went to Baguio to spend our two days and one night trip there. Our first stop is Burnham park, where we watched some Baguio residents for their morning exercise while having some site seeing on the area. Next we went to session road and have our breakfast at the nearest resto. After breakfast we walk our way to Baguio Cathedral. From there we went back to terminal and ride our way to Botanical Garden, Wright Park, The Mansion, Mines View Park and Good Shepherd Convent. After all the site seeing, picture taking and eating while walking we spend our time shopping and when we get tired we get a taxi and go straight to the house near Camp John Hay which we rent for few days. We took a rest for awhile then went out again for our tour in Baguio City. Our next destination is Lourdes Grotto, then we went to Tam-Awan Village, after Tam-awan Village we are supposed to go to Asin Hot Springs but we got problem getting a taxi and we are short of time, so we just go back to city proper via jeep. From plaza we get a taxi and go straight to La Trinidad Benguet Strawberry Farm to pick and buy strawberries and vegetables and go shopping in the area. It's quite late when we're done with our shopping and strawberry picking in La Trinidad, and we can't get a taxi from there so we walk our way out the area and ride a jeep back to Baguio City. We went back to session road and have our dinner. After dinner we walk our way to Market to look for cherry tomato which Derlyn need to buy as requested to her. But unfortunately we can't find one. According to the locals it's available in La Trinidad Market only in the morning. After all the shopping we went back to our place to rest. The next day we went early to PMA (Philippine Military Academy) and spent half of the day there site seeing, picture taking, and watching cadets drill which is really fun. That day cadets & officers have ongoing presentations and activities. We got the chance to watched pasa masid by cadets and batch presentations. The “Bagwis Class of 2012” is really great, their presentation is fun and informative. For the first time I've seen cadets dancing in the tune of “Nobody”, “Careless whisper” and the likes. After our trip to PMA we are suppose to go back to Cathedral for mass but we are unable to do because of time constraint. We just went back to our place to fix our things and headed our way back to Manila.

First Blog Entry For Year 2010
I am writing my first blog entry for this year. I know that it's quite late already because I'm too busy with lots of stuffs lately. I really want to write something, I even started few poems for blackplume but I haven't finish anything yet. I am just too crowded with lot of things that I need to do. As I went back with all my entry here I realized that most of my post were written during the times that I am down or simply wanted to shout my mind out loud and free my thoughts. Those are the times that I can't find someone to talk to. Things are really different now. Everyone is busy living their own lives. Life is more real now. We all have things need to attend, responsibilities need to fill and works need to do. As the year started I'm looking forward for a more time with my love ones and myself than with work. My friends always told me that I am too busy and I need more time off. So before the first month of this year end, I schedule an out of town trip with some of my friends. And I plan not to bring my laptop with me this time. Just to make sure that I will not spend time in front of it instead of unwinding and relaxing. It will be just a weekend getaway since I can't afford to take a leave now at work but I'm hoping that those few days is enough for me to start the year more light and great. Everything is already plan, the hotel reservation is settled all we just need to do is be there and do whatever we want to enjoy and have fun. I'm looking forward with lots of things for this year. Hopefully a new working environment, new place to live, lots of new and exciting place to visit, more time with family and friends, know more great people, lots of new skills to learn and more exciting and great stuffs to do. May this year be great and exciting for all of us.

Help A Friend
Rose is a good friend and an office mate for many of us for ten years now. She served as an inspiration and a model for many. She wasn't the type who would tell one what is good and right. She simply showed everyone through her actions.
As a daughter, she chose the path of single blessedness to take care of her aging parents. She took the role of being one of the major bread winners of her family.
In her faith, she devoted her days in prayer and actively participated in the noble causes of their community. She shared her talent in singing to give praise and encouraged others to do the same.
Camaraderie to her peers at work was always felt. Be it in the afternoon break-time ambag-ambag, the after office sing-a-long sessions, or to giving contributions to present or past officemates who are in need of financial assistance.
One might think it might be true that God choose to test those who are closest to Him. Early last year Rose was diagnosed to have cancer of the lymphoma. With the help of her family, friends and charity she was able to go through chemotherapy then radiation therapy. Hopes were high. Her initial symptoms of continuous coughing disappeared. While having regular check-ups and waiting for the final diagnosis to see if her treatments worked she decided to go back to work. She came in twice a week. Again, her presence brought good to so many at work who were having trials of their own. Her attitude towards life became a source of strength and inspiration.
To date, at age 47 only, she started on her second round of chemotherapy. Her cancer cells continue to misbehave and spread to her body. But just like how she was before, her faith remains steadfast. She believes that a miracle is coming her way.
Please join us and include this wonderful lady in your prayers each day. Include her family that they be given the strength to face the challenges.

Nothing To Write
I haven’t posted anything here for quite a long time. I haven’t blogged, and I haven’t written much journal entries. Most of the things I had written lately are book reviews and few poems which is posted on blackplume (my literary blog). I hardly know what to write for this site anymore. I just don't feel that there are interesting things to tell about how my life runs, or on what is happening around me. It seems that life is just constantly the same for me lately. Yes, there are lots of new things that happened - I've been to lot's of exciting places and experienced new things. But when there are lot's of stories and experience to tell, It is so hard to find the time to write. Then when I got the time to write I'm not into it anymore. I guess writing is not really easy, I thought it is just as easy as talking with a friend. But sometimes, I can't just find the right words and exact phrases for my thoughts.

After the mass I just realized kung bakit ganon ang pamamalakad ng kura paroko ng aming simbahan. Kilala si father bilang unfriendly priest samin. Lahat daw binabatikos.

I just receive a text message from Rica, nawalan daw ng cellphone and cash si Mama.

May karapatan ba sila?

Tulong!!!

Pagpapaalam
Nakatanggap ako kanina nang text message from a friend asking "kung ikaw ang nasa posisyon ko, paano mo sasabihin sa magulang mo na nais mo ng bumukod at bumuo ng sariling pamilya?"
Bigla akong napag-isip.. At my age i think legal naman na para sa mga ganoong desisyon. Though I don't really see myself in that position in the near future. But kung ako darating sa ganong sitwasyon. I know it will not be easy. Mahirap sabihin sa magulang ko na iiwan ko na sila dahil mahalaga sakin ang pamilya ko, but still I know my parents will understand kaya hindi magiging sobrang mahirap ang pagpapaalam. For sure they will be happy and proud for me coz im taking new responsibility. For me parents should be happy with every new stages of their children's life. Every parents want to see how each of their child grows. And building our own family is part of growing.

BedROCKS
what happen to us at bedrocks...
we got the front table, with a full blast of air condition in front and a loud sounds - that's why we cant hardly hear each other. And because we can't hardly hear each other we can't do some chat that's why we need to extend our time at Starbucks after. But getting the front table is also fun. We got the full view of the performers plus easy access to dance floor. But behind those things is the fun.
These are the fun:
- seeing Mench doing her unlimited dance step at front,
- seeing Derl in her dance moves,
- Mench at her blooming aura as if ready to hook some guy *laughs*
- Unending laughs of Derl and Mench (they really enjoying the night)
- Mench reaction and comments with the bills :-D
- Mech targetting the cute keyboardist of empire :-P
- Ivy's getting lots of drinks (well Im not sure if this is fun)
- and lots of funs...

Trick or Treat
“Trick or Treat” words that is related for holloween celebration. By the way, its almost holloween. There are lots of kids doing the usual trick or treat at malls, offices and somewhere else. But with this, Im not talking that kind of trick or treat...I'll give a new defenition for this just this one, since I made a best trick or treat with Ivy.. let start with TRICK – remember the big joke I posted before.. That was one kind of trick for me, but let me tell you the other side of the story. My bestfriend is throwing a big trick on me, something really serious, which I admit it really gets me. But my instinct move fast, as if its saying, your bestfriend is just crazy giving you a trick. So I play the game she wants to play. The moment we seriously talk about that she is “pregnant” (for the record, shes single and unattached that moment), my mind just function, for that moment I dont know how and why, but I just said a news to her. Ive said I had a boyfriend. Wishing that maybe for a moment she'll focus on what I've said and stop her story. Which I think Im quite successful. But my story doesn't end with that. Since Im already into it, I make a decision to continue it, until my mission with her is complete. After saying that story to her I just realized that I have a good reason giving her that trick. Something that I think, she really needs this time. Now, at this moment I know Im successful. My mission is complete so I've just tell her the good news..- that everything about that bf thingie is just a wonderful story. You want to know my mission with her, then talk to me in person.*laugh*
Now lets move with the TREAT - to make it short and simple I just gave her a wonderful treat, something I never did before since I cant aford it... :-P

All white cofee for maricar..
one, two, three.. ilang gabi na ba kong walang tulog?.. I can't still believe it, back then you will never see me drinking cofee (I just love the aroma but I hate the taste). Then all of a sudden Im addicted to it. what happened? what went wrong? I just tried it once to help me awake for a whole day of work. I said maybe cofee can solve my sleepy condition for a day, so I drop by to the nearest coffee shop and order a tall all white mocha. After that, cofee is my companion for a hectic work sched everyday I remember Ivy saying to me : “para kang bata, ang hilig mo sa gatas”, coz I am a milk lover, fresh milk every morning – --I LOVE fresh milk... Now, there is a few changes, fresh milk in the morning, coffee at night...
--”I hate how coffee turns into an addiction and how it keeps you up all night, how it burns and makes your heart beat fast. Especially how it makes you crave for rich and sweet promises of grains, milk and sugar. Moments later, it puts you into a melancholic mood of coldness before you realize it has consumed you before you should have consumed it.. empty...hollow..bitter... then again, you crave for another cup.” ^,^
